Growing up

Wyatt is growing up and that means he has hit a few milestones.

Wyatt doesn't like to be left out, so we let him sit in his high chair with us at the table. He doesn't eat solid foods yet, so instead he slobbers all over his chew toys.

Wyatt has also discovered new ways to play with his toys. Rather than just laying on his play mat, he uses it to make a fort.

Wyatt can also now play with bath toys. He loves to eat his rubber ducky.

Wyatt also loves to eat his towel after his bath. He acts as though it is an exciting game to catch the towel and put it in his mouth.

We bought Wyatt a Jumparoo and he absolutely loves it! The first time he got in it, he didn't know how to jump in it because his legs were too short. We put a board game under him and then he knew exactly what to do. He wore himself out so much that he fell asleep in it! Twice in one day! He would be playing and then all of a sudden I would hear silence. so I'd go over and he was passed out! What a funny little baby!

Wyatt is also a pro at rolling over and sometimes he can be pretty quick. My little baby is growing so fast but I am loving every minute of it. It is exciting to see a little baby discover the world around him. Wyatt reminds me that each day is a gift and that there is so much in this world to be grateful for.

Everything is little except...

One of the greatest things about babies is that everything on them is small! They have little hands, little toes, little ears, little tongues, little lips. We love that about babies. I love that everything is small on my son Wyatt. It makes him that much more cute. BUT, there is one thing that is not small: Boogers! Why are Wyatt's boogers so huge? I know we live in West Texas, home of the dust bowl, but Wyatt's nose is small and it seems like too much booger for just a little guy. Well, I still love my son but his boogers aren't cute. I'm not sure that I would think they were cute if they were smaller but I guess I will never know.
